Project Background
This residential swimming pool, situated near the seaside, was experiencing issues due to prolonged exposure to salt air and a lack of proper waterproofing. Salt precipitation had started to damage the pool's surface, necessitating a remedial repair. To ensure durability and long-term resistance, a high-performance epoxy adhesive was required for the repair process.
Challenges Faced
Weather Sensitivity: The application of epoxy adhesive is highly dependent on optimal environmental conditions. Proper humidity and temperature are essential to ensure a strong bond and effective curing.
Complex Pool Design: The pool featured a convex design, which made a precise polish finish both technically demanding and necessary for aesthetic continuity.
Solution & Result
We maintained open communication with the client throughout the project and explained that delays were possible due to the rainy season affecting application conditions. Fortunately, the client was supportive and understanding of the challenges.
